Ellarie Rose Duke, CPSS

Ellarie is from Roanoke, Virginia, where she lives with her two children, Kylie and Brooks, her Great Dane Daisy, and two ducks, Perth and Brisbane. She majored in English (focus on Shakespeare’s early works, cell biology, and post-modern theory) at Virginia Commonwealth University. She later completed the BSN program at Jefferson College of Health Sciences. In her youth, she was competitive in equestrian sports and was nationally ranked in three-day eventing and steeplechase. Notable career highlights include being a Space Camp educator at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, a professional dancer with the Huntsville Showcase Ballet, and an admissions coordinator with Mount Regis Center before transferring to utilization review. She is a member in good standing of the Roanoke Recovery Community and Second Presbyterian Church. She enjoys traveling, gardening, outdoor exercise, and volunteering at the Roanoke Rescue Mission.
